i have also noticed that in kmatplot 0.4, i can only use data from one
sheet for the data and axis labels... this is quite awkward!

using the graph wizard, i could only select one data source as the input
so i needed to place all teh data i needed in to teh one worksheet...
but in version 0.3.x i could use teh import data dialog to control
thigns a lot easier... any chance of bringing that back please?

i have downgraded to version 0.3.1, it does all i need, i just have to
install kde2 as well, but hey.... also the font always seems to come out
as helvetica on export to ps file... i just change the file by hand
though. graphs look very swanky though!

The new versions has the same features as the previous one. You can try New
window/Current dataset or something like that to edit the data as in the
KMatplot 0.3. In the graph wizard you can go back to the first page and
select other worksheet as a data source, the previous selections remains

i know i can use different datasets for the same graph (e.g. overlay
several 2d plots over a pixmap)... but not one for each axis labelling
and another for the actual data, in a pixmap. i could find no way to do
this. the old method was much more versatile.

Are you using a graph wizard ? I have to check it. But I don't know why you
can't use a few worksheets in a single graph. Go back to the first page,
choose next active worksheet ( don't change a graph type ), and go forward
to the page you was on before. Axes are some kind of different datasets in
KMatplot, so they use their own data. Maybe I didn't understand something ?
