I am getting a crash during download. It is reproductible on my PC .
THe download is working fine during sompe time (often half an hour) and sudently, it crashs.

Just forget, it is during list download/update not during file downloads.

I had a similar problem, however the problem disappeared after I did a "compress database".
Apparently, the database was corrupt.

I agree with d-rothe, crashes like these usually are a corrupted db's fault.
Try to compress the DBs (file->compress db) and let me know.
