Could it be possible to add the ability to edit the equation by dropping a png from powerpoint to klatex and start editing modifying the equation and the copy back to powerpoint, so that its a two way easy communication.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I vaguely recall experimenting with this, but as far as I recall it is hard to embed metadata in graphics in a way that's persistent like you mention. I also don't have access to a recent version of Powerpoint so it's hard for me to experiment again on more recent versions of the software. It should be pretty simple to generate your own export profiles in klatexformula with python scripts, see https://klatexformula.sourceforge.io/doc/user-script-klf-export-type for instance, so you can experiment a bit to see if you can generate a format that can carry meta-data even after it is pasted into powerpoint.
In the meantime you can still go in klatexformula's equation history and edit your earlier equation from there.
