I was thinking that, when I'm offline, if I click a link for an article not in my wikibook, then kiwix adds that article to a "shopping list". When the computer is online, kiwix goes through its "shopping list" and downloads any articles in it. That way I don't have to manually write a list of articles to get, add them to my wikibook when I'm online, and re-download the whole thing.

    Yes, we think to integrate something like httrack to Kiwix... but for now this is not clear on the roadmap at which date we will do that...

    Here's a reasonable approach to the problem: If we can figure out how to merge zim files, articles on the "shopping list" can be downloaded as one book, then merged with the existing one.

    About the shopping list, this is possible on wikipedia or wikisource directly with the special:book page. I close this ticket.
