KIWI-LTSP utilizes ease of deployment and management provided by openSUSE KIWI imaging system for LTSP5 implementation. See: http://en.opensuse.org/LTSP for installation instructions.

KIWI-LTSP is a glue that sets up the infrastructure that makes creating and managing LTSP client images with KIWI easy. It also helps set up all the required services such as:

  • dnsmasq: For providing DHCP and TFTP services
  • vbladed: For exporting AOEROOT client image
  • nbd-server: For exporting NBDROOT and swap
  • NFS Server: For exporting NFSROOT if required
    See kiwi-ltsp -h for more
