kin status

I've gone through a couple more iterations without updating here, and am working towards a release Q2 2005.
I am starting a maths masters (my background is engineering, rather than pure math), and will be updating kin and kin-g cvs as the course progresses. Quite what goes into kin will be dependent on the content of the my maths course.
