Problem:
If you are getting the following message (or similar)::

Application has generated an expection that could not
be handled.
Process id=0xaec (2796), Thread id=0x96c (2412).

Cause:
You probably need the latest MDX (Managed DirectX) files.

Solution:
Download the relevant Managed DirectX release and
extract to the directory where "Killer Instinct.exe"
resides.
