    Hi all,

    After several months of on and off developement, the first version of the new FalconKMS code has been released! The reason this is called version 2.1 is that 2.0 has been in private testing with a number of corps for a few days to iron out any last minute show stopping bugs.

    This version supports new installs only! However a script to import old killmails will be coming out soon.

    As 2.1 is written from the ground up, some of the features present in 1.x may not be included yet, and others may be reduced to much more basic functionality. Below is a quick overview of what is inclued

    Full Support
    * Revelations Items/Ships
    * Revelations (broken?) kill mail copying support
    * Viewing Corp/Player/Alliance Kills and Losses
    * Viewiing details of a specific mail
    * Password protected submission

    Partial Support
    * Deleting kill mails, there is currently no confirmation
    * Posting secutiy by user, currently users can't create account by themselves. Must be manually modified by administrator using phpMyAdmin or other 3rd party tool
    * Search, only a basic list of matches is output

    Not Implemeneted / Critically Broken
    * Corp / Alliance rankings, will be avaialble in 2.2
    * Resetting password admin function
    * in-game posting, needs to be tied to restrictions on out of game
    * Enable Killboard flag, setting this to 0 won't disable killboard

    If you have any feedback feel free to reply here or contact me on support at killboard.co.uk. Please submit any bugs to the bug trackers on SourceForge,

    Thanks,
    Geoff Wilson

      i "upgraded" from the 1.12 version of the Killboard. i say "upgraded" since it didn't let me upgrade, so i did a new install. the killboard works for the most part except that there seem to be errors with the login.php and header.php. i'm no guru with PHP so i'm not to confident in my ability to personally fix this.

      is this tied in with the not fully supported user system?

      did installing over the older version cause this error?

      also is there a way to keep all the old killmails? when i "upgraded" i lost all the old killmails. i backed up the old killboard, and am still able to access those killmails, though i can't copy them over, since the "view original mail" option is broken (it was broken before the upgrade).

      the error message from the new KB:
      Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/insig7/public_html/bmesa/kb/header.php:29) in /home/insig7/public_html/bmesa/kb/login.php on line 27

        There are some continuing issues with the login system that I will address soon.

        Importing of old killmails will be available very soon.

      egotze: Get a newer version of Winzip, or try redownloading the zip. If it doesn't work after redownloading, then it's because your winzip is old.

      geoffw22: Seems to be working nicely, but corp losses view is broken. I'm looking at closses.php and display_functions.php trying to figure out why it displays nothing. ckills displays things just fine.

      Ignore that last... somehow the killmail with the corp loss got lost :)
