OK, but what causes the .tex~ files then? Katepart? and what's the differen=
between them? I would prefer having *~ backup files, since most KDE=20
applications (and some other as well =E2=80=94 e.g. joe) use it and it is a=
recognised as such by KDE and it applies the appropriate icons, contexts an=
so on. But that's just my 0.2 =E2=82=AC ;)

As far as I heard the biggest problem of LaTeX, TeTex and others is still a=
lack of proper unicode support (only using UTF-7 plus workarounds) and that=
ConTeXt is supposed to be the most actively developed ...I haven't=20
double-checked the info though.
