I have noticed the same problem with the compilation of Kile 1.9.3 on (K)Ubuntu 6.10 and 7.04 described here: http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=9894 It seems that the patch joined with this message solves the problem. But I am not a programmer. I just noticed that many KDE apps have a structure like this in Makefile.am and Makefile.in: messages: rc.cpp rm -f tips.cpp $(PREPARETIPS) > tips.cpp $(XGETTEXT) -ktranslate *.cpp *.h -o $(podir)/kmail.pot rm -f tips.cpp (extracted from http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/KDE4_Porting_Guide) So the patch consists in adding the line rm -f tips.cpp in files kile-1.9.3/src/kile/Makefile.am and kile-1.9.3/src/kile/Makefile.in. Please let me know if this hint is helpful. I hope that all the (K)Ubuntu users can upgrade to 1.9.3, since Kile doesn't compile anymore. Olivier |
