I am desperate to a solution of my problem which recently happened. I
was just trying to chose another font for a Latex document I was
editing with kile, and after that kile keeps on crashing and I cannot
proceed with my work.
I am using Linux Fedora 12 and before I tried that change, everything
just works fine and very robust.
After the change I tried the following steps to get kile to work again:
I removed the installation with 'yum remove kile'
I deleted the kilerc file in .kde/share/config
I reinstalled kile with 'yum install kile'; version 2.1-0.6.b3.fc12 has
But this did not solve my problems! Whenever I try to open a tex file
kile crashes immediately. I have attached the debug information, maybe
this is of help in debugging this crash.
Please help me to get to a working kile again. I really need to use
this to get some documents finished very soon!!
