Hi there!

Kile complains. The error message is "this document doesn't contain a latex header. I should probably be used with a master document. Proceed anyway?". Of course, this is a stand-alone document.

When I started using Kile recently, I had to change the option "Latex" in Tools, so that kile wouldn't expect every document to end on ".tex" (now I have ".ltx", that's what I use, but it's strange anyhow, I should be able to use every ending, right?). Could it have something to do with this? The document compiles fine...

Does the file has a LaTeX header like this:
\documentclass{article} etc.
or do you include the header using
\input{...}

The in latter case you should disable "check for latex header" in Settings->Configure Kile->Build->LaTeX.

No it has a proper "documentclass{ }" in the first line. Dunno what else I should check...
