I'm using kile on gnome (ubuntu 10.4). Everything works fine, but the inverse
I've set in settings/kile/build LaTeX from defaulf to modern. The default
viewer is Okular; forward search works, but reverse search - not.
I was trying to change the settings. I've set xdvi as a viewer in "viewDVI",
and reverse search works. But I have forward search which works with Okular
and reverse search which works with xdvi. I was trying to add to ForwardDVI
xdvi as a viewer (using the same way as for viewDVI, found on this forum);
when I click on forwardDVI in the terminal appears:
finished wiht exit code 1
If anybody has an idea how to enable reverse search with okular or forward
search with xdvi, i'd be very greateful
I also wanted to use forward and backward search.
Do you have a solution to your problem?
BTW, How do you do forward search? I didn't find any menu entry for that (but
I may have missed it).
I have found a web page explaining how to do inverse search with Kile and
Basically you have to configure Kile as you did put also Okular (very simple
to do). Then Shift + Left Click!
