A new release has been made. Now, kika comes packaged (both as a deb, and a rpm) for linux.
I'm still working on documentation, but for now, the usage of kika can be understood from this post on the sourceforge forums:
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1600672&forum_id=612428
Notice that there are some posts including corrections according to the current release. One of them is essential since it describes the way to run kika....
The first working release has been made. The python script can be downloaded from the files section, while a description on the software, along with example files can be found on the projects home page kika.sourceforge.net
The example files consist of an xml file with "rules" and a text file for proccessing with these rules (how this is done, is described on the pdf that can be found on the home page). This example files show the use of kika to reduce the size of a latex file.
A first release has been made, as a python script. It's incomplete in functionality and works in a very limited way with normal rules (it doesn't iterate). Also, it full of bugs....
I'll try to release a better version for the next week....
Well, the project has begun. Guess I have to define clearly how this thing is supossed to be, so I can pass from planning to developement....
