It was scanned with Windows Defender, Avast and by Bitdefender before and during upload. On a new Windows 10 box it did report it as an unrecgonized app.

Same here on Windows 8.1.
I ran it anyways and it continued without further compliants.
if you download it from a DVD to a Windows 10 PC then it would not show that problem
