I have 15 audio tracks from different CD's and I need to know how t clear out the old tags and so I can use them in one folder labeled Oldies CD3 or what ever. I use Audirvana Plus on a MacBook and feed all my music from an external HD to my sound system. But when I first used your tag editor I get 3 different folders all labeled the same Oldies CD3 but with some of the the songs in each. I've tried many times but it keeps getting worse so I thought if I could just strip all the tracks of there old tags that might help. I Thanks

What program is putting your songs into 3 different folders, kid3 when using "rename directory" or Audirvana Plus? Maybe there are some differences how the album name "Oldies CD3" is written in the files, e.g. trailing spaces?
You can select all tracks in Kid3 and check if all tag frames which should be equal (e.g. "Album", maybe "Album Artist", "Date") are really equal. Frames with different values show an unequal sign. If you really want to strip all tags, you can click the "Remove" buttons in every tag section and then save.
