Hello. First off, let me say your application rocks, and congrats on the new release. Just wondering, has there ever been a discussion about moving Kid3 officially to KDE? Although workflows might change a little, you would have the benefit and exposure of being on Planet KDE and other sites for more exposure, as well as other perks of being part of the community. We're growing fast, and would love to have such a great and long-standing project as part of KDE Appliations! :)

Being part of KDE Applications would surley have advantages. But I am afraid that there would also be disadvantages. For example I have versions without KDE dependencies (just Qt) for Linux, Windows, macOS and Android. I would like to keep these versions without KDE dependencies also in the future. All these versions also make the build system a bit more complicated than it is for a normal KDE application. I do not know if this would be a problem when participating with KDE Applications. Is there some document stating the rules which come when being part of KDE Applications?
