No Tag FLAC files - odd behavior with Track/Track Totals
Audio Tag Editor

If you start with a FLAC file that has no Tag info...
Then put some basic info in (Title, Artist, etc.)
Then put in Track as ##/##
On first save, it will only keep [##]/## in the track field; but it will create a TRACKTOTAL field with the correct value in it
I then have to go back and re-enter the ##/[##] element of Track field
Bug?
I do not think that this is a bug. Unfortunately, there seems to be no standard for Vorbis comments (as used by Ogg, FLAC, Opus) on how to store the track total. Looking at forum discussions I conclude that it was decided not to standardize it, so application programmers have to follow defacto standards. I think that the defacto standard is to use the TRACKTOTAL field, most application use this. Do you know of applications which cannot cope with TRACKTOTAL? I have seen that TagScanner is creating tags with nr/total in the TRACKNUMBER field, but the other applications I have looked at use TRACKTOTAL or do not handle a total number. VLC recognizes the nr/total format, but uses TRACKTOTAL when it writes the tags itself.
