#8 Stacks improvements (many many ideas)

It would be great if, after adding stacks, you could just drag them off and place them into, for example, nautilus.

Perhaps more easy to do would be at least the ability to drag stuff in an OPEN stack in and out. For now you need to right-click and choose "remove stack item".

IDEAL: Dragging items from a stack into nautilus removes them from the stack and adds them to that nautilus folder. Holding down control keeps them in the stack while copying them into nautilus as well (a little arror in the cursor would help folks figure this out).

Double-clicking on the dock icon opens the file in the picture viewer, clicking once opens the stack.

double-clicking on an icon in the stack opens it in picture viewer. Right clicking on an icon in the stack gives a few different applications (like nautilus does).

You would have the ability to open two stacks at once and drag items between them.

Also, for example, dragging a photo into a Firefox launcher from the stack would open that photo in firefox, etc. Or if you had an ODT file you could drag it into an openoffice launcher in the dock.

Finally, stacks would be rearrangeable amongst themselves, and perhaps have a mode which fans them out in a line, without any background (maybe with a little rotation)

Also, a sliding animation while scrolling down like in avant window navigator's stacks would be cool.

The colors should be customizable and there should be an option to have a little "speech bubble"-like triangle on the bottom of the window, attaching it to the icon in the dock.

(and opacity settings for those who don't want a background image)

Finally :D : It would be very nice if the text could have shadows (like the digi-clock has).
