    Dear Ko-Ichi Higuchi,

Thanks for creating this KH Coder! Fantastic.
I tried to install it in UBUNTU Linux and run it with Wine.
I followed the instruction and use the example: "Botchan" files.
When I pressed "Pre-Processing" , there's a pop up window and says "Could not find JAVA".
I am pretty sure I have installed JAVA.

    Thanks lot for your help.
    Best regards,
    Irendra

    Dear Irendra,

    Thank you for your post.

If you use Windows version of KH Coder, you will need Windows version of JAVA. You can download it from here:
    http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp#win

Also you probably need this workaround.
    http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-bugs/2012-February/312010.html

Now we can use JAVA. But it appears that KH Coder ("Net-Telnet" Perl module) can’t connect to Stanford POS Tagger on the Wine environment. I could not find a fix so far.

So currently I think you have 2 choices. If you would like to use Wine, you can choose “Stemming with Snowball” instead of “Lemmatization with Stanford POS tagger.”

Or you can use KH Coder without Wine. In this case, you will have to configure Perl, MySQL and R. But you will be able to use Stanford POS tagger.

    Best regards,
