difference in KHAN desktop and windows apps

I found that khan desktop and windows app are little bit different in contents. windows app has more contents than desktop. Please short out this.

I mean both (KD & app) are using same videos but both have different file names to access them. Like windows app uses 339557900.mp4 but KD uses Ka82QC4QvGA.mp4 for same video named "quadrilateral overview". If both of these would have same in that case anyone will be able in using both platforms still by a single download. I already downloaded these file for windows app but want to use KD also.
Please let me know if any name conversion list is there. I can do it manually for once.
Sorry, there is no conversion utility available.
I never even considered applications sharing video files, although it could have been done if everyone agreed to do so.
It almost happened by chance as both numbers are part of the raw data provided by KA - I chose to use one number and the Win8 App another!
Perhaps I'm wrong, but I think your only option is to download once for each app. KD must have Ka82QC4QvGA.mp4 for that file name, and you cannot get that number without KD downloading it - or writing a special conversion app which is a big big job.
Also, if you have two sets of downloads, keep them in seperate folders - KD searches the folder all the time and extra files there will slow it down. Extra files may also be considered "unused video files" by KD (see Tools/Unused Video Files under help).
