#9 Problem with kde Hdrs on Debian Sarge (3.1)

I tried to install the 0.4.9 using the
./configure-Script - it stopped telling me the kde
headers are not installed - in fact, they are. How can
I resolve this? It says "check this please and use
another prefix!" - HOW can I do that?!? I cannot
remember using such a thing as a prefix!

Then, I got the .rpm and aliened it into a .deb. I was
able to install it using dkpg, but - the application
does not start, just the "loading" icon appears, and
that's it.

Is there a proper apt-getable package out there I can use?

The screenshots look great, I badly want to have this
one running on my box!

Cheers,

Peter

    Hello Peter,

I succeeded a second ago - the configure script worked with the parameter --x .
I had to install the whole QT stuff and the KDE Debug packages, but now it looks like I get the 0.5.1 version compiled :-)

    Hope this helps,

    also Peter

    Oops, the command line is:

    ./configure -x-libraries=/usr/lib/X11

    Cheers,

    Peter
