Qt4 and kde4 are obsolete and are removed slowly but surely from all GNU/linux distributions, which imply it become uterly complicated, when not impossible, to install kguitar.
Unfortunately, the development of the project seems to be stalled. I don't have much time and/or motivation to continue, and others who have applied over time seem to have lost interest too.
