by now https:// is mandatory on flickr, so kflickr is broken now.
Patch to fix it is attached, build and verified on openSUSE (OBS build service project is home:lemmy04)
I've just compiled from the master and it works, kflickr is not broken anymore. However, kflickr notified me once a message from flickr was not known and it halted my upload. It happened in the middle of the upload, maybe at a time where flickr asked to throttle the upload (I can just guess).

Wouldn't it be the right time to make a new (functional) release and mark other bugs for later ? Because right now, the latest stable version of kflickr implemented in most distributions is broken.
