kexpcalc-0.9 has been released. This is a bug fix update from the 0.8 release. Some minor calculation bugs were discovered while porting code to MacOSX. They have been fixed in 0.9.

The initial release of the OSX version of kExpcalc has been uploaded. For those with v10.4 or higher of OSX you should be able to use the program at this time.

It has been a while. I'm back to the kexpcalc project after an extended break from it. Fixing some of the pending bugs and testing the npc generator again. I should have a new release in the near future.

Kexpcalc-0.8 has been released. Many updates to this version. Kexpcalc now requires the sqlite interface to be built into qt/kde to function.

We are making headway. Taking feats is almost done. Starlance is almost done with weapons, armor, and equipment tables. Then we will tie them into feats so items that make sense get chosen and put on the npcs. Printer functions have been added and a 3x5 card design started. All in all it is shaping up nicely as time permits.

This has been a very productive week. We've got a large number of feats in the database (Go Starlance!). I've added preferences and some encounter information (EL, Average Treasure, etc...). A little code restructuring and a lot of internal design done.

Starlance has joined as an official developer on the project these days. Welcome and Thanks!!!

As for the NPC generator it is going well. We are working through feats and class features right now. Once those are done we'll get into weapons, armor, and other equipment. That is going to open the door for other more utilitarian calculators (like craft weapon, craft armor and so on) as well as do-it-yourself magic gear.

We are making progress on the npc generator. The AI behind making a good and usable character can be quite involved and we are anal so please bear with us.

Added market pricing.
Added spell xp/gp costs to potions, scrolls and wands.

There were a few bugs in the 0.6 release that have been fixed in the 0.6.1 release dealing with staff creation. Mainly XP wasn't being displayed and 0 level spells had a cost of 0. I also added in the 300 gp for a masterwork quarter staff. If you don't use your staffs as masterwork subtract 300 from the cost.

I've added staffs to the item creation system and dome some general code cleanup on the back side.

Kexpcalc-0.5 has been released. This version addes wands to the item creation calculator as well as fixes a bug in the time calculations.

Released 0.4 yesterday. Minor fixes and a corrected desktop file.

I released 0.3 of kexpcalc today. A couple bug fixes I noticed as well as the addition of potions into the scrolls screen.

Kexpcalc 0.2 was released today adding scroll cost calculations to the mix. Potions are to come as well as many other enhancements.

The project has been added to sourceforge and is now available for download.
