I incline to the solution with parallel evaluation of subexpressions with strict priorities assigned to them. By changing priorities dynamically we can pass control to and from any subexpression. Such a way sequential evaluation, coroutines, gotos and exceptions can be expressed. > I decide to start write code parallel to discussing conceptions. I think that first thing to be implemented should be translator from kernfach to C. Of course without any optimizations, just to see how it works. OK with Visual Studio as your development platform, but I think we should write this translator in plain C99, even without any C++ extensions. At home I have no Windows, only NetBSD, so it should be compilable with simple make and gcc. Do you have a valid license for Visual Studio?;) If kernfach is syntactically just lists -- do you think we need to use any lex/yacc stuff? It seems that kernfach code will be very easy to parse. |
