A complete offline PDF and media toolkit for Windows, now with a modern interface.
Merge, split, compress, encrypt, convert, repair and compare PDFs — plus video tools — all on your own computer. Nothing is ever uploaded anywhere.

What is new in the Modern Edition

The tools and their behaviour are the same as in the classic 5.3 release. What changed is how everything looks and feels.

  • Sidebar navigation with tools grouped by purpose (Core PDF, Convert, Modify PDFs, Media, Analysis & Archive, Help), colour-coded, with a live search box.
  • Six themes plus Auto — Light, Dark, Midnight, Sand, Emerald, Violet. Auto follows the Windows light/dark setting. Switch any time with the Theme button in the sidebar; the choice is remembered.
  • Modern controls everywhere: rounded buttons, cards and input frames, flat tab headers, owner-drawn check boxes and radio buttons, themed combo boxes, list views, tree view, progress bar, sliders and number boxes.
  • Modern dialogs: message boxes, the Please Wait window, the About window and the colour picker are custom, borderless and follow the active theme. The old grey Windows pop-ups are gone.
  • Themed context menus and thumbnail/preview frames.
  • Help & Docs page restyled: searchable topic tree, theme-aware reading pane, and buttons for the user guide, the LIBS folder, About and bundled tool versions.
  • Safe by design: if the skin cannot start for any reason, the program falls back to the classic interface automatically and keeps working.

Features

Core PDF

  • PDF Merge — combine many PDFs in the exact order you choose (move up/down, remove, clear), optional compression after merge, live preview and statistics.
  • PDF Split — by page ranges (1-3, 4-6, 7-10), every N pages, or one file per page (Auto-Split All Pages).
  • PDF Encryption — AES-256 with user and/or owner password.

Convert

  • IMG ↔ PDF — extract pages to PNG/JPG at a chosen DPI, or compile images into one PDF.
  • Word to PDF — Word, RTF, text, HTML, Markdown and ODT; single file or whole folder.
  • PDF to Word — editable .docx with options for headings, paragraphs, lists, tables and images.
  • Excel / PPT to PDF — .xlsx, .xls, .pptx, .ppt, .ppsx; single or batch.

Modify PDFs

  • Negative PDF — invert colours or make a high-contrast black-and-white copy.
  • Watermarking — text or image watermark with opacity, rotation, position and colour.
  • Page & Header Tools — page numbers, headers and footers.
  • Page Management — rotate and rearrange pages.
  • Crop / Resize — fit every page to a standard paper size, optional landscape and padding.
  • Grayscale — convert to grayscale with JPEG quality, optional downsampling and contrast boost.
  • Metadata View / Clean — inspect all metadata, strip it, export a report.
  • Batch Rename — rename PDFs from their first line of text, with a review step before anything changes.

Media

  • PDF to Video, Video Compression (H.264, H.265, VP9; quality, resolution, preset, audio bitrate) and Video to PDF (frames into a contact-sheet PDF).

Analysis & Archive

  • PDF Repair — five-step recovery of damaged PDFs with a live log.
  • PDF Diff — compare two PDFs by hash, metadata and text.
  • Visual Diff — page-by-page pixel comparison with a red overlay.
  • PDF/A & Linearize — archival PDF/A conversion and Fast Web View.

Help & Docs

  • Built-in, searchable manual, tool versions and About.

Getting started

  1. Download the release and extract the whole folder (do not run from inside the archive).
  2. Double-click START.bat.
  3. Pick a tool in the sidebar, choose your files and go.

No installer, no admin rights needed for normal use, no internet connection required.

Portable by design

The program runs entirely from its own folder. Tools and settings live in LIBS\, and nothing is written to AppData or the registry. Copy the folder to a USB stick or another PC and it works the same.

Click Theme at the bottom of the sidebar. The selection is saved in LIBS\theme.txt (one word: the theme name or Auto), so it travels with the portable folder.

  • Windows PowerShell 5.1 (included with Windows)
  • About a few hundred MB of free disk space for the bundled tools
