I love Keepass, and I was very excited to see that there was a version for windows mobile. While the smartphone version is only in alpha I thought to give it a try to simply have my passwords with me when I didn't have my flashdrive (which I tend to forget, but never forget the cell), but I was upset to see that it requires a .kdbx file. Renaming .kdb doesnt work to resolve the problem either. Am I doing something wrong?
On the webpage it says in quite big letters:
KeePassSD V0.1.0 Alpha (Compatible with KeePass V2.05 Alpha).
Are *.kdb files used by KeePass V2.xx ?? Nope, it uses *.kdbx files...
However you can use the experimental Import function for the old database format.
You have to start the program. Go to the main screen. (Probably press cancel, if it already shows the file-open dialog). And then go to Menu->File->Import
