I am a personal user and therefore the administrator. I did not change any settings on my KeePass 2.23 (but after issue did upgrade to 2.24 hoping for fix) and it suddenly no longer allowed me to view passwords, or click on to view. I went and checked the policies and I had unchecked the box "Hide data using asterisks". I tried to check and uncheck and it made no difference. For some sites that will not allow auto-type, I have no idea what the password is. Here is what I am getting:
This operation is disallowed by the application policy. Ask your administrator to allow this policy.
The following policy flag is required:
Feature: Unhide passwords
Description: Allow displaying passwords as plain-text
I have searched the forums, but have found nothing but that just did not indicate checking the "Hide data using asterisks" button.
