#188 Settings for Desired Startup Behavior

Alan Lemly

I'm a new user and have set KeePass to launch at startup and stay minimized in my system tray. I don't want to be prompted for my KeePass master password unless I call the program to review or input passwords. However, I get a prompt to enter the master password when starting my system in the morning. How do I need to adjust my KeePass options so it will launch at system start, stay minimized in the system tray, and not prompt me for a password unless I call the program?

Also, I imported via the generic CSV file import my passwords from the Passwords Max program I've used for years. Many of these came in with Group tags that were categories in Password Max. I like the way KeePass displays the records by group but I was wondering if there is a way to display all the password records in the database? If so, how would I do this?

Thanks for your help.

Enable the option 'Start minimized and locked' in 'Tools' -> 'Options' -> tab 'Advanced'.

To show all entries, go 'Edit' -> 'Show All Entries'.

    Best regards,
