#334 XML import plugin: Password Group Hierarchy

It's great to see a plugin that supports importing back
from XML. It would be nice to have the XML import also
rebuild the original Password Group Hierarchy. So
subgroups all appear under their original parent group
instead of all at the root.

Keep up the good work.

I notice that this works as expected in 2.x version, but not in the latest 1.x (1.8) version using VariuosImports plugin. Could someone please back port the fix, since a lot of us can't migrate to 2.x version for a while?

I would also be really be happy to see this problem fixed, because it would make it possible to create, modify existing exports from other sources, and then import these also organized in a "multi level" / hierarchical structure. As it works now, I have to move the subgroups manually after the import, and I have many groups and subgroups :-(
Because I'm using keepass on several different platforms (including Android and iPhone), I can't upgrade to version 2.*, which according to the other comment can import this format.

This is a comment to my comment "Date: 2011-08-15 00:19:30 CEST"
After writing my first comment I thought I could try the version 2.* - just to see if there were any possibilites to solve my problem (since the first comment wrote that v2.* could handle hierachical XML-file import).
When 'playing' with version 2.* I saw that there were import *and* export possibilites for v1.* files (incl. *.kdb). So this kind of solves my problem (importing hierachical XML-data), since I could import the XML in Keepass v2.* and then export it as KDB afterwards (and then use it in Keepass v1.*).
But I still would like this to be possible in v1.*, since that would make it a bit easier - but I can live with the above solution :-)

V1 doesn't do groups well and import is usually a one off, so you probably won't see this implemented.
