#1679 Hidden Feature like truecrypt hidden volume

Hello, it's possible to include a hidden feature like truecrypt hidden volume? This means if somebody use the outer password this person see only same stupid and not important entries. With this feature we are able to give a password if somebody press us to do this.
Thx and rg Andreas

There is no facility to do this.
If someone forces you to reveal the password they will open a database file. If that file proves to be worthless they will ask you again for the password. They are not going to let you go until you give them what they want - maybe not even then.

Paul, I don't agree with what you say. You are basically saying that plausible deniability doesn't exist. You should check out the truecrypt website for more information on plausible deniability.

I think AHORNIG brings up a good idea although it could be a lot of work to implement.

Implementation wise, maybe hidden group(s) could be better. What I mean is you open the database with password1, it shows everything except the hidden group(s). What is disclosed is let say email info and forum stuff you don't care to show. And if password2 is used to open the database, the hidden groups are shown too.

Plausible deniability for KeePass does not exist because an attacker knows exactly what to expect.
