Is there any way for KeePass to display the last viewed or last used group when it's opened? Right now it seems to be set to show the last edited group.
I don't believe that is practical because the last viewed group would need to be saved with the database. This would create a situation where the database is in a near perpetual changed but unsaved state and would break other features (e.g. triggers that execute only if the database is changed). The last edited group can be saved because editing puts the database in an changed but unsaved state.
Just to clarify: KeePass doesn't save the last edited group; it saves the view that was active when the database has been saved. So you can adjust the view as you wish, save the database, and the next time you open the database it'll restore this view.
Thanks for the answers!
BTW. Dominik's clarification means you can create a save on database close trigger to automatically save the current view.
