i placed the plgx files into /usr/lib/keepass/, then got the compilation progress dialog with no errors or anything, but under tools/plugins nothing shows up, and i can't use them.
i use KeePass 2.22 with the TwofishCipher and QualityColumn plugins, mono version 3.0.4, OpenSUSE 12.3 distro

The compiler in Mono 3 is broken. It has been fixed, but the fix has yet to be released.

See for more discussion and some links to the mono bug and the fix on github.

    Workarounds are:
    1. Downgrade Mono to 2.10
    2. Compile your own Mono with the fix.
    3. Install the plugins on a computer with Windows or Mono version < 3 and the same version of KeePass, then find the cache directory for that plugin and copy it to /usr/lib/keepass/ on your computer with Mono 3 (Windows is C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\KeePass\PluginCache\, Linux is /home/user/.local/share/KeePass/PluginCache/)
