Printing your Passwords for a backup

  • Nobody/Anonymous

How does one print out thier passwords just in case they forgot them or they lost thier Master Key?

I tried just printing them out by Crtl + P but the password are cut out.

If you use the Print preview you will see the passwords. In that case Keepass is generating a html page (pwsafetmp.html in your temp folder) witch you can save for backup.
Using ctrl-P will generate the same html page but send it to the printer. As you can see, all the generated text won't fit on the page. That's the reason the passwords are not shown. Try setting the sheet properties of the printer to landscape to get more text on the printout.
What we need here is a possibilty to set the font size for printing and posibiltiy to choose columns to print so we can adjust things to get the text to fit on the printout.
