Start KeePass at Windows startup

  • Nobody/Anonymous

When I select the option to start KeePass at Windows startup, I get the following error:

Unable to create/remote the auto-start key of KeePass in the Windows registry!

How can I resolve this? Thanks,

You need to be an administrator. Instead, put a shortcut in your Startup menu.

My domain account is a member of the local admin group. Is there something more that I need to be able to do this? I never had a problem installing services and other admin stuff. Anyway, not a big deal. The workaround will suit me fine. Thanks, -Rob A

Just being local admin does not guarantee full access, it depends how they have set the machines permissions.

      cheers, Paul
