Global Auto-Type Help

I just started using KeePass, so this is probably a noob question, sorry.

I want to use Auto-Type for a website that is unfortunately only named "login". naming the key entry "login" is out of the question since this gives me the choice dialogue for which key to use on many other websites.

I thought using a custom sequence for specific window might work, but simply entering the url there doesn't.

What do I have to do?

Try the WebAutoType Plugin from the Plugins page.

thank you, that solved this problem.

but I remembered I also had a problem with the page uses some kind of a popup to login and I think KeePass doesn't recognize it.

Instead of a plug-in you can add an Auto-Type Target Window named "login".
    1. Edit the entry.
    2. Select the Auto-Type tab.
    3. Add an entry and select the window you want to use via the "Target window" dropdown, or enter "login*".
Now the Global Auto-Type keys will offer you the correct entry.

    cheers, Paul
