I am using Keepass and it works great. However, I just ran Pestpatrol and it shows a trojan in the program. I deleletd it, but am wondering if anyone else has run into this?

Pest Patrol must be rubbish, unless you picked KeePass up from a site other than this one.  ;-))

      cheers, Paul

Pest Patrol is not rubbish. I have been using it for some time and it is very good at finding spyware. I did get Keepass from this site. Also, I have run Pest Parol many times with keepass installed and had no problem. Just today, for the first time. I suppose it is possible Pest patrol has a updated definitions with a problem. I will check with them.

Just wanted to make sure no one else has seen this, or maybe there was a problem going around I was not aware of.

The trojan is called WorldAntiSpy. I am convinced I got it from a web site, and why it embeded in Keepass, I don't know.

this WorldAntiSpy appears to be a cheap trick to try and sell spyware.

I suspect it is a false positive. You would know if you had Worldantispy, it's really in your face.

p.s. you need to read the smilies in posts. ;-))

      cheers, Paul
