Auto-Type / Multiple Logins on same webpage

  • Nobody/Anonymous

I have just changed from PINs to KeePass. I have the following problem with the autotype-function:

I have added a password group for my internet email accounts (, gmx ...). Among the rest, in this group I have organized 2 entries refering to my accounts are.

    user 1
    Password 1

    user 2
    Password 2

If I would like to log in now with the user 2 / password 2, I mark the entry 2 in KeePass, change in my Browswerfenster (Mozilla Firefox) and use my Hotkey. In spite of the marked entry 2 KeePass sends the data of the entry 1 in the registration form.

Is the problem known? Can I change there something with the options?

Otherwise I am fully enthusiastically from KeePass. Many thanks to the diligent programmer!!!

Please also have a look at the following thread

If you want to fill your forms just with a double click without auto-type, then you could also try the extension KeeForm:

      Try it this way.
      1. Open the page in your browser.
      2. Go to KeePass and mark entry for user 2.
      3. Press Ctrl-V.
      2. Go to KeePass and right click the entry for user 2.
      3. Select Perform Auto-Type.

      cheers, Paul
