    This has probably been answered somewhere else but I can't find it.

    I'm creating a deployment package for Keepass 2.24 and it will be pushed out via SCCM. I found that auto updates can be disabled with
    <CheckForUpdate>false</CheckForUpdate>
    <CheckForUpdateConfigured>true</CheckForUpdateConfigured>

    I can see this configuration under: C:\Users\USERXX\AppData\Roaming\KeePass
    And I know I can't change the keepass.config that's located under: C:\Program Files (x86)\KeePass2x

    How can I configure it to ensure that users don't get the pop up asking them if they want automatic updates?

    Do I create a command that copies the keepass.config to another place?

    I may have found the answer... would adding
    <Start>
    <CheckForUpdate>false</CheckForUpdate>
    <CheckForUpdateConfigured>true</CheckForUpdateConfigured>
    </Start>

    to KeePass.enforced.config.xml disable for all users?
    Thanks

    Yes, that would work. Note: users can get around an enforced config by copying KeePass.exe to another location and running from that location.

    cheers, Paul

    p.s. always worth a donation if you use it for business.
