The same problem also arises for any of the following symbols:

The same problem also arises if these symbols appear in the password.
The problem does not arise for
$ ! & * ( ) + ? / < > _ - = + , . ' " ; :

For example, if the username is abc123@gmail.com and the password is abc$123#def, Auto-Type will give you

abc123@gまいl。cおまbc$123#でf

where @ is an ascii but the next "g" is not (it is a Japanese character).

The problem does not arise if I use "Copy User Name" and paste it. I get the problem only when auto-type is used. The IME is not turned on when I manually type @ or any of the above symbols.

The same problem is also reported by many Japanese users.
