I can't use Keepass for logging in the SWTOR launcher. Anyone can do it ?

    What doesn't work?
KeePass allows drag n drop, copy/paste and Auto-Type.

    Sorry, I forgot to say.
With the copy/paste, this works perfectly. But the drag n drop or the Auto-Type does work. I don't know if the launcher that blocks the procedure or if it is a mistake in the filling of the entry.

It will be the launcher preventing those actions, not an error in KeePass.

Might be a little late, but maybe this adds to the clarification:

As stated over at the SWTOR forums (see:, SWTOR's launcher runs elevated and since most users run KeePass under normal user privileges, there's no chance for KeePass' auto-type feature to access the field(s).

Additionally, after starting an elevated KeePass instance, I discovered that none of the "window catchers" worked - not even after playing with the RegEx-sequence.

So, IMHO it's impossible to catch the window and fill in the password (username is saved across launcher sessions). Sad, but true. :(

    Thanks for the clarification.

Resurrecting this thread. I had Keepass autotype working with SWTOR before, but the Windows 10 upgrade seems to have broken it. (I tested the autotype into notepad, and that's working). I think under Windows 7 I had loosened up UAC quite a bit - is their an easy to start keepass elevated on startup?
