    To log in to my bank i need to enter a password, then underneith on the same page is says:

    Please use the drop-down menus to input:
    Letter 5 of your memorable word     (drop down field 1)
    Letter 6 of your memorable word  (drop down field 2)

    Can do the password bit, but how do i do the drop down bit.  Ive tried to read the help guide but i must be thick cause i just dont get it.  This is from the help:

    Auto-Type: {USERNAME}{TAB}{PASSWORD}{ENTER}
    Auto-Type-Window: Some Dialog - *
    Auto-Type-1: {USERNAME}{ENTER}
    Auto-Type-Window-1: * - Editor
    Auto-Type-Window-1: * - NotePad
    Auto-Type-Window-1: * - WordPad
    Auto-Type-2: {PASSWORD}{ENTER}
    Auto-Type-Window-2: Some Web Page - *

    Can somebody give me a working example?

      You can't do the drop downs unless they always want the same info every time. KeePass cannot interpret the messages asking for a particular character.

    Alright, what about drop downs that do require the same information every time. How do you program those into keepass

    KeePass now handles dropdowns as long as the dropdown is the same every time. KeePass can simulate cursor strokes to move to the correct value.
    To choose the letter "e" from a dropdown you might use something like this.
    {TAB}{PICKCHARS:Password:ID=1, C=1, Conv=D, Conv-Offset=1}{TAB}
    See the place holders help: http://keepass.info/help/base/placeholders.html#plh

    cheers, Paul

    Is the problem here caused because the dropdowns are on the same page as the username / password? KP can handle dropdowns where you need to choose as long as they are on their own web page.
    Is it possible for you to post the address of web page causing the problem?
