Dell Auto-Type Problem

I am using  version 1.01 on XP SP2

My computer is  a Dell Latitude Laptop

The shortcut key I have selected is Ctrl+Alt+A

When I use the shortcut, the computer's battery meter and screen brightness window and on-screen volume controlu appear.

I have searched through the help forum and I have tried using "alternative auto-type method" to no avail.

I also inserted the {DELAY=500} tag suggested by "Nobody" in the thread, "". This showed that the screen brightness window appeared after the 1st character was entered and the battery meter appeared after the 7th character in the username box.

The application is "clashing" in some way with the "Dell Quick Set" application.

I experience the same problems when using the Laptop's keyboard (English) as well as the external (USB) keyboard (Swedish).

I have not found any other combination of shortcuts keys that do not cause this behaviour.

All I can suggest is, turn off Dell Quickset because the functionality of KeePass is a lot more useful.

I have downloaded and tested with version 1.0.3

KeePass works perfectly with Dell Quickset as far as I can tell.
