I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 with the default Unity desktop, KeePass 2.19 works flawlessly with KeePassHttp and PassIFox, however upon creating a shortcut for "cli KeePass.exe" and starting it an other icon appears on the taskbar (instead of the original icon gaining a tiny "running" indicator). Also minimizing to tray doesn't work. Which can't exactly be Mono's fault as SpakrleShare's minimization works flawlessly.
Minimizing KeePass causes all icons to disappear from the taskbar (the left vertical panel in unity) and no icons to show up in the upper horizontal panel (the regular tray), however, upon clicking the launcher icon in the taskbar causes the running instance to appear again.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
the issue with extra icons was fixed in v2.20
I have created a plugin to fix the tray icon: https://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/discussion/329220/thread/5263fef5/#5c39
Do you run KeePass via "mono KeePass.exe"?
Does "cli KeePass.exe" do the same thing?
