    I have a problem with auto type making too many errors. It works about 50% of the time. I usually just copy and paste into the fields. I'm using IE 7. Is there a fix? I like the feature.

    Can you provide more detailed symptoms? Your post title suggests you believe it has something to do with auto-type speed.

    Try a delay in the default Auto-Type sequence.
    Right click on the "Database" node in the top left of the left pane. This is the root of the database.
    Select Edit Group > Auto-Type.
    Click on Override default sequence.
    Enter this text in the box. {DELAY=200}{UserName}{TAB}{Password}{ENTER}

    You will now have a 200ms delay between each keystroke.

    cheers, Paul

      Didn't work. Could some sites have Auto type protection? Maybe it's not the speed?

    Another possible source of problems is TCATO but it would not normally be responsible for a 50% failure rate. Can you be a little more specific about how the auto-type is failing (e.g. provide a link to a problem site and/or describe what happens when auto-type fails).

    A 300ms delay worked for me. Thank you, Paul.
