I'd think that when I doubleclick/copy a TAN to the clipboard and the Expiration Time gets changed, also the Modification Time should reflect that change. Because I believe changing the Expiration Time is a modification of an entry, and besides, it would ease synchronisation of databases (like it is, I can't overwrite TANs with expired ones from a more up-to-date database).

Which KeePass version are you using?
I assume you're using KeePass 1.x, because KeePass 2.x already does what you suggested. I've implemented this feature for KeePass 1.x now, too.
