I do have a 3GS jailbroken iphone. My iOS is 4.2.1, too old for the minikeepass (this wonderful app "requires the 4.3 iOS or later").
Since I don't want to update my iOS, I did install an app called JBiKeePass (from Cydia, BigBoss).
I would like to know if I could use it safely on my phone: is there a risk that my personal data could be send through the app? Started with for instance with my keepass password...
Are keepass' data protected even against those risk? I guess not, but I'd like to be sure.
This is always a risk with software, but we rely on authors not to put this stuff in their software. The only way to be absolutely sure is to obtain the source code, check it for nasty stuff and then compile it yourself.
OK So it could be nasty. I'm not a developer (I only do Html and CSS) so I won't be able to see if there is something wrong on it, I should thus probably avoid that option...
Thanks for having taken the time to reply Paul!
