    Since the new version 2.21 is available, the 2.20.1 crashes after the info window about the new version.
    SOLUTION:
    - disable ANY network connection
    - start KeePass 2.20.1
    - goto Tools->Options
    - select the Advanced tab
    - uncheck the box for 'Check for update at KeePass startup'
    - enable your network connections

    Further starts will be run normal.

    I cannot reproduce this (tested under Win XP, 7 and 8). Can you attach your configuration file? Maybe I then can reproduce your issue.

    An alternative solution to the one you posted would be to upgrade to KeePass 2.21.

    Best regards,
    Dominik

    Keepass 2.21 is not available for all of us ie (http://keepass2.openix.be/) users are still on 2.20.1.

    Upgrading is not possible at this time.

    Interesting - are you saying that if I disable the updating as mentioned above in KeePass on my Mac then it may stop crashing on launch?

    The only official KeePass is from Keepass.info. All other versions are provided by 3rd parties and it is up to them to make new versions available.

    cheers, Paul
