Using Keepass 2.23 under Linux Mint 16 KDE.

Under Linux the {CLEARFIELD} auto-type placeholder does not work: it inserts () instead.

As a workaround the following sequence can be used:
{HOME}+{END}{DELETE}
(the {DELETE} key is optional, actually)

Anyway, for portability, making {CLEARFIELD} work in Linux too would be useful.

    I cannot reproduce this issue under Kubuntu 13.10, Mono 2.10.8.1 and the latest KeePass development snapshot
    http://keepass.info/filepool/KeePass_140408b.zip

    KeePass 2.25 has introduced a new auto-type key sending engine, and since then various auto-type improvements have been implemented, thus please try the latest development snapshot above.

    Thanks and best regards,
    Dominik

    I confirm that KeePass 2.26 does not have this problem. Thank you! :-)
